It also looks strange and unpolished. Black on black is not a good idea, lightly speaking. For the main page portion, add a BG translucency (or just find a better BG img) for more prettiness.

i prefer grid. its easier to remove sections for responsive layouts

grid is witchcraft i dont understand... i put flexboxes inside flexboxes like matrioshka dolls
