ok yeah i have to do some lil menu popup for the font/theme toggle bc i cant get optgroup to work w/the JS logic for font swaps....... oh well, a lil button that pops out the site options should be ok

i ... should figure out a theme swapper button but i have no idea where i'd put that on my site w/o making it even busier ... i think just the auto swap between dark and light mode is ok but thonk

imo i'd recommend making maybe a dropdown menu next to where u have ur fonts? or gather all of those options in a general "website settings" dropdown menu so it's less cluttered?"

tbf i left the bold as pink bc i had a theme extension that turned a lot of my italics/bold/deco stuff different colours rather than the 'same text colour but Bolder(tm)'

having the blog hosted on the site definitely has its caveats imo... i think the best perk is just having it be local and also being able to customize the layout to whatever you want

yea...... it's the local and not requiring another site that's appealing, but i also already have copies of all my blog posts in my obsidian since i write them there initially for lazy copy and pasting, and bearblog is already pretty flexible with its CSS decorating.....
i should also probably change my templates github to be a github page so the pages are live and i dont need to keep copies of it on my own site for live previews... sorry, many things to do so i yap abt it here (why am i getting back into website work when im leaving for vacation in a week and wont have laptop access LOL)
