I love Neocities but I know part of what's stopping me from updating is that I can't just add text straight into the nice little boxes I have on my site, and instead have to look at an ugly string of letters and symbols :((((( /nm

@oldkidz-newblockz nope, it was glitter-graphics.com, but I just managed to find it again! :D Not sure if any of these work for me after all. They are very animated which is very distracting to me π

New journal entry! I reviewed the new ice creams that I tasted this summer. I pondered if I should write in Finnish or English, and I ended up writing in English, even though 2/3 of the brands I taste tested were Finnish :'D I might write it in Finnish at some point and uh... figure out a js trick to switch between language versions ^^'

They sound better than they taste unfortunately x'D The hazelnut cone is the only one I would buy again, just to see if it would benefit from a little thawing and melting before eating it :3

awe thank you!! I usually just look up "flower border" I may edit the image I like the best, and then use it as a border-image in the CSS, I detail how I use and make border images here: https://solaria.yorniq.xyz/guides/borderimage/ ^^

What a perfect timing. This has been my biggest obsticle to continue my homepage. HOWEVER! I have an idea around this. Just gotta do some research and testing. But basically I'm thinking we could write our entries using something else, like tumblr, blospot or wordpress etc... Then we could code a widget-like page that shows our posts and updates them in real time on our neocities page...
I think such codes actually already exist that we only need to copy and paste. But I'll look into alternatives for the forementioned blogging platforms, preferably something open sourced of course. Will share what I'm able to dig up!
