genuine accessibility question: alt text for graphics pages? (blinkes, stamps, buttons, etc) (basically things such as like listed on my /graphix page).
on one hand it makes sense bc it's more or less a gallery and some of them are like, funny/can be enjoyed via text but. on the other hand damn that's a LOT of work :ohno:
hoh… i did it for mine just because it’s like. the focus of the page? its hard to say if Yes or No, because they are decorative, but they also are the only things on the page 🤔
On my grafix page I have alt text for my stamps, blinkies, and 88x31 buttons, cus thats what the page is all about! The pagedoll I have on nearly every page and the little pixels sometimes included in text cliques have blank alt text. If the img isn't communicating anything and is only there to look pretty, it aint need alt!
and my descriptions are super duper brief, usually just transcribing the text or stating the characters name, series, and what they doin. feel free to poke around my source code for inspo

I think of a grafix page akin to an art/gallery page, u there to look at things. To put it most simply
some of my graphics have alt text, but a majority of them don't. oops.
