Thanks to your story I check my setting and I don't see a 18+ checked mark lol. meaning Kyle is already considering my website 18+ I find it funny tbh lol Maybe Kyle is using AI to scan all sites with bad words I do maybe have some bad words in some blogs but those words are mostly tolerable for a teen to use

I am going to give it a little bit more time but will be cancelling my supporter tier soon unless Kyle addresses these issues. Unsure how this may break my site. I will get that special webring page up soon as well.

From my experience it doesn't delete anything on your site, but it won't let you upload new media if you're over the free-tier limit.

Learned about it this morning, didn't realize you were affected too until i browsed the nsfw-tagged sites out of curiosity. While I don't think my site has been shadowbanned judging from visit counts, I very much support the cause. Neocities is already user-funded and without ads, there is no reason for the TOS to be so unclear about nsfw.

Hello everyone, after over a month I have received zero word back from the staff here. Apparently I am not alone in having these issues, as I have seen other sites recently talking about how they have been shadowbanned without any explanation or means of appeal...

i'm finally able to reply to your comment! i haven't been shadowbanned/placed on the 18+ list, but i was noticing a slight uptick in reports about this on the subreddit. i take issue with kyle's policy as it's both vague and easily adapted to include content he doesn't like. i'm on another platform that operates similarly. it's worrying with the laws floating around about age verification

That being said, I am dismayed at the shadow ban that I am in, I still haven't heard back from Kyle or anyone, and it has been almost a month now. I hope this can be resolved soon

Long overdue but I cancelled my Neocities premium, never got a response from Kyle/Neocities staff. Most of the old neocities pages should redirect to the new site (which is more up to date.) If you were one of the real ones who changed their index image and stood by me thru it all, please leave a comment because I do want to put a thank you for sorts on the new site

@xxcatgore & @unclecatfish Thank you, please note tho that my site is STILL up, added a bunch of redirect links to the Neocities pages. FuckYou is now on a different host (Nekoweb) with that custom URL. I will maintain this feed from time to time with any big updates, unless I can find a better way to keep in touch with everyone?

R.I.P. to the old domain, genuinely one of my favorite Neocities websites I like to brows once in a while. I'm glad that the site is still up tho, so that you can continue working on it to this day
Yeah, we cancelled our supporter subscription because of this too. We'll stay on here for now until we find some place better, but we can't keep financially supporting Neocities for engaging in a lot of the same crap people came here from the more corporate web to avoid. - Parzival

@icandoanything I have emailed multiple times, posted on reddit and even made a Blusky account just to @kyle and he never responded once. All signs point to the silence being an intentional cold shoulder, and the initial shadowban was done in a very underhanded way. I am not sure what he would respond to at this point aside from a decrease in revenue. You are welcome to try or voice your concerns tho I appreciate it
