Job hunting SUCKS and stressing about having to find a job sucks, and I get the fear of passion weaning if your hobby becomes a job =.=' From experience I can say it can go both ways.. I've made drawing commissions to people, and some of them I've loved working on, and some of them frustrated me to no end... but when a customer is happy with your work, it's always an awesome feeling ^-^

Keeping it very casual and being upfront about what kind of projects you're ok working on could help. It can be very fun to create for someone else, but only if the vibes are good.

i’m glad art hasn’t been influenced by me doing commissions in the 7 years or so, but it’s the worry of other things that do ;_; or if it leads to burnout and i end up not doing it for myself anymore

Ough yeah, I get that;;; But, as long as you don't rely on it for your livelihood, you can always stop doing websites for money if it starts feeling like, well, work. Burnout suuuckksss so def don't go too hard on yourself ;w;
