ok ... i did end up adding a little box to my friend's book on the index. ended up archiving some pages i havent updated in quite a little bit (mostly my minecraft forever world, food log, microblog, and sims 3 legacy). they'll most likely return when i pick them up again, but i need to clear my site a lil bit of WIP pages rn :pensive:

at least all my projects are backed up and neocities doesnt take up much space, but it's annoying to hold back on installing and organizing all my games and projects so i can leave space for my OS/more vital programs

LOOL windows will piss me off one day enough to do it, sucks clip studio doesn't work in it w/o having to jump through some hoops + some other programs i tend to use :(

i miss website working ... fixations anywhere else and i think i've formed an accidental mental barrier with WIP pages/half done project pages making my brain freeze. maybe i need to archive a few pages i havent worked on in a while. not delete, just put them in a folder outside of my git so they dont get pushed. unfortunately im very much the type to LIKE making new projects/things but then putter out halfway

maybe i need to find more low effort methods to document things like my minecraft forever world. ive been doing game logs on dreamwidth which is definitely a lot more low energy, but i may see if i can consider using obsidian for game logging

random but for ppl who have larger monitors and need to have their UI zoomed in for it to be human readable ... how do u... keep pixels from being blurry ... (context: my previous laptop was at 1920x1080 and the UI was at 100%, this laptop is 2560x1600 and needs to be at 150% zoom to look normal)

I'm just used to it, but you can go into your graphics drivers program (e.g. Nvdia control panel, etc.) to lower your resolution if necessary. I have 2560x1440p monitors

I know some people use image-rendering: pixelated but that looks awful on my display. I usually go into inspect site and change it if I’m looking through pixel art, etc.

yeah pixel cat's end use pixelated but it looks like garbage and shifted pixels unless i zoom in to like ... 133% on browser

bahaha to explain im usually just very self critical abt promoting myself on personal things, it always feels very weird to me ... but since it's my friend and i want her to succeed as an author, it's why im like ... thonk. i know its my own site after all, im just musing out loud

i made a lil section promoing my friends on my neighbors page. how i think of it is that a big part of the indie web is removing the need for an algorithm, and this is a great way to direct people to other content they may like in an intentional, human way!
