Added a lot more of my new friends to my button ribbon, and I've begun reducing the amount of hotlinking I'm doing. It's a bad habit I have. I always figured it's a way to differentiate between your art and someone else's, and always forget it's considered rude, so I apologize for that. Hey thank you! It's definitely a concept right now, if I upgrade to supporter I can really do some cool stuff with it. It's pretty limited otherwise without CORS support and whatnot.

Thank you so much! I think I was casually working on it for at least another month or so before it went live.. but after that, I've just been addicted to working on it, and it's changed a lot! I've been slowing down just a little to take some time to explore all the awesome websites on neocities (I LOVE yours btw!!) just for my own sake- I was starting to lose sleep with how much I was working on the website.

Hey good luck! I'm working towards the same. I'll be making a website for an artist soon, but it'll be static so I wasn't planning on a monthly fee. I'm pretty lucky in that the small town I live in has tons of local businesses, and a significant elderly population. So, there are a lot of businesses without websites that just have a facebook page or something.
