thanks @taibhse and @badgraph1csghost for the shortcuts! you've actually inspired me to just make a page on my site that I can reference. I have lots of punctuation to copy and paste and I'm not great with memorization.

I Google searched for my emdash to copy/paste .. RESPECT the manual labor to add it

AltGr + Shift + hyphen works on both of my keyboards (although i omit the Shift to get en dashes instead)
@maxcrunch you could also use charmap (or your linux DE's equivalent) and avoid giving google any traffic
i became an emdash user thanks to writing fanfic... 😭
