Ah i never tried that! i feel very relieved knowing that i'm not on any of the 'mainstream' platforms anymore (except for tumblr i suppose, which is my equivalent of your substack)

right there with you re: social media. for me it is harder on social media because every individual post is its own thing that people might come across without seeing the rest of your feed. on the other hand, a personal website makes it more likely that a visitor will see a fuller version of what you're trying to do. there is room to be quiet here; not every thing we post has to be attention grabbing.

@oopsiedoodle: i fully agree! it gives you the time and space to stay true to yourself as a whole, instead of having to make every little scrap of faceless information as engaging as the next..
i know the feeling!
by the way if you want to fix your back to the top issue (i saw you mentioned it before), Change href="#top" → href="#illustrations" would probably fix that?
