My queer media rec list is live! Kinda! I'm planning to do a bit of an overhaul re fonts for my site, and the rec list is a precursor to that. I've had a lot of fun figuring out Isotope for this one! Also the reason I've been quiet on all the other fronts... writing over 100 reviews eats into my time somewhat lol.

This week's collage - This Product is not Dishwasher Safe, Hand Wash is Recommended. I started with the idea of motherhood, or at least being nurtured, formation/transformation/support/separation. All of the paint swatches I chose at bunnings last week because I thought they told a story together. I had originally thought of a more eros love, but then I found the photo of the mother and child that fit the colours!

This weeks collage 'Dehydrated' looks at water and hydration as embodied, giving, receiving; the irresponsible use of water for data centres (not just for AI), the effect of climate change as Indian farmers lose their teeth, giving plasma, and the saguaro - desert ecosystems that are not dehydrated but on a different cycle.
