i didn't see your response to my mullvad post until now but i've been using posteo as an alternative to proton and while the user experience is more janky than with proton it's bearable and the prices are much lower while giving you basically the same feature set (12 EUR yearly instead of like 50 for proton)

ya! they will likely have near identical symbols because this stuff is quite standardised in lenovo's manufacturing and stuff from what i've seen
