thursday evening. the maple syrup bottle won't give! the adjustable wrench goes into play. though the cap is strong, the certainty of steel is stronger, and the cap gives way to reveal the beautiful maple syrup. and in a horrifying twist of fate, i look down at my desk to see a thousand tiny shards of fuCKING MICROPLASTICS FUCK

so as a follow-up to the gallery thing - i've finished the infrastructure, now i gotta insert data for the 250+ images. with the amount of things i need to confirm and write, i can get out half an image per minute. this is gonna be fun.

the photos taken with the redmi 9 are especially cool because instead of exposure time being saved as a reasonable fraction, like 1/60s, the Redmi 9 saved it as e.g. 15001/500000s in the metadata. i am not joking

my site used a version from february 2025, which had blocked 37 crawlers. the most recent version of the text file that neocities uses (according to a post from january 2025) (https://github.com/ai-robots-txt/ai.robots.txt/blob/main/robots.txt) currently blocks 129 crawlers. it does not remove any blocks present in the february version, so the most recent file blocks an additional 92 crawlers
