Welcome! I'm Will. This website will be a home for my music, work stuff and some writing. DIY LinkedIn replacement.

I studied Urban Planning, History, and German. I started at Cornell University, then finished at the University of Wisconsin. After my undergraduate I worked in prairie restoration and arboriculture. Then I really got into the woods. I became a park ranger on the White River National Forest and later a wildland firefighter on the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge.

Now I'm back at the University of Wisconsin studying law, with interests in land use and natural resources. I still drop trees from time to time, too.

Outside of school: I play drums in a band, write and record my own music, read, and spend as much time active in the sun as possible.

There are two (?) other William Grosspietsch's out there. One is my Uncle Bill, another is Carl William — I am William Carl. Have a good day!
