What is Virbex?
'Virbex' (Virtual + Urbex) is the name we've settled on for our site about virtual world exploring!
Virtual worlds being software or games that create or have a persistent virtual world which you can experience in a non linear fashion.
And 'Urbex' being urban exploring; the exploration of human-made/artificial structures.
What do we do?
We plan to build this into a place to learn about various virtual worlds and how to access them (on all available system types). We will also share our experiences and memories of being users in numerous virtual worlds in the form of two blogs;
- 'Traveller's Log' an informal blog noting our initial experiences trying out virtual worlds new to us, or interesting things we come across in familiar ones. Also where site updates and meta info will go (RSS-only, viewable on our feed page).
- 'Features Blog' a more distinct 'feature' or 'article' style blog with longer posts typically centred on a specific subject, world, or experience. These will be less frequent.
This site is mostly complete, with more being added over time =D
