Hello and welcome to my personal web page, my very own space on the World Wide Web! I'm a 17 year old student from Italy who's favorite hobby is drawing. This website's main purpose is to share my drawings on the Internet without the hassle of using social media, but you will also learn some info about myself and my OCs. This website is not mobile friendly and is best viewed on a widescreen monitor. More info can be found in the About page

But why?

WAIT! Before you start exploring, I think it's time to talk about the backstory behind this site. What you are looking at is actually the second iteration of what once used to be called Vance's Web Corner, and it looked like this. After looking at various other websites on Neocities, I decided to create my own. Development of VWC started around February 2025 and ended on March 2nd 2025 when it was officially launched on Neocities. The site was divided in 2 parts: The homepage, which provided some brief information about myself and explained the purpose of the site, and the gallery. As you can easily guess, this section was meant as a "dumping ground" for my drawings, and was basically the "main attraction" of VWC. It contained almost every drawing I had made since 2023, the vast majority of it revolving around the popular Japanese shmup series touhou project. At the time, I was a massive touhou fan, and had created many scribbles portraying characters from the series.

It was.... awful. The homepage looked very ugly and poorly made and the gallery wasn't any better. While its appearance wasn't as hideous as the homepage's, the writing was overly quirky and disjointed. In addition, most of the drawings were either just random doodles that didn't deserve to be there, or were simply of poor quality (I even called them "crude" and "subpar" on the site introduction). Near the end of summer 2025, I decided to give this place a well deserved revamp, as my passion for touhou thankfully died out. The final result is what you are looking at right now. Is it perfect? No, but I enjoy the idea of having a place on the internet that I can call mine, and I just can't afford to let this project rot away.
