guys im 16 should i get my learners permit to drive cus i couldve gotten it at 15 but im rly scared to drive BUT in my state u need it for at least a year to get your license so ill just have it for when i get over my fear and wanna get my license

get it! idk for your state, but the learners permit in GA only needed the knowledge test, i didn’t have to go on the road at all. i’m 18 now, and i STILL dont have my license because i waited so long to get my permit!

has anyone else noticed that a LOT of newbies (esp ones with like "cute" type sites) are just determined to not even make an effort to genuinely learn how to code? like carrd is free man im not trying to gatekeep but this isnt the community for you if you dont even put in bare minimum effort

all out disabling right click/inspect is kind of rude/snotty/gatekeepy imo. i understand not wanting code stolen but what if someone is just seeing how you did something? you put your website on the PUBLIC INTERNET in a COMMUNITY OF CODERS. the least you can do is help beginners out.

hey, i did some experimenting a while back and found out that the filter drop shadow can make pages severely laggy when used in excess, and thats probably whats making your site so laggy! maybe try using text shadow and box shadow more, and use the drop shadow sparlingly if you want to reduce lag!
